This is my 3rd visit 123 hair art.With the friendly and good services from the friendly staffs, u will feel satisfied leaving the salon. I did the colour plus hair cut . Very happy with the end results and no hard selling at all. So happy with my stylist ,

geezzee Korean "Quaity" Perm dropped the next day
Was introduced to them via a deals site when they first opened. Deal specify $78 for a perm for Long hair. I went down and confirmed it's the same price for my hairlength. The hairdresser , a Malaysian guy agreed but after I sat down , he examined my hair saying I need a "better quality Korean perm" which cost $20+ more for better quality product. When it's time to make payment, he charged me $168, which includes another Colour session I can utilise another day without expiry. Unfortunately the next day my new perm dropped. It looked like frizzy mop of straight hair, eve though I didn't touch or wash it. I returned and he blamed me for not buying a curling product and blowing it rigorously to maintain the curls! It's so ridiculous. How was I to trust him or the salon to do the Colour the next time. I wanted a refund of the used credits for the colour. But I was told then it was non-returnable or exchangeable. So I can use it for hair cut ($48) or hair products. This is the next day. I'm furious. I even have to pay extra at other better non-HDB salons to salvage the situation. The bad perm, whatever the chemicals used irritated my scalp and could possibly result in the hair loss situation I'm facing now. So for 4years I never do any chemical treatment, perm or colour. Their salon had moved to their present location but I was not notified about this at all. Imagine how I felt when I went to Bugis Block1 and see the whole building vacant. Luckily I passed by Chinatown and chanced upon their new shop. The hairdresser in question had already stopped working there and the staff insisted on what was written on my customer package card. It was obvious the amount of the perm was doctored. How can the Colour in the $168 perm+colour promotion bundle cost just $50. They told me it's $158 now. Triple the price in 3years? Even if I trust another of their staff to do a Colour for me now, it's not justified that I need to top up another $68 for the same colour-perm bundle I signed up. The existing staff still in shop jumped to her ex-colleague defence. She was not involved yet she insisted she remembered the incident years ago when I stomped back in and insisted I'm not going to take up the Colour so they would forfeit that for me. They change the customer card amount on their own accord without need for my signature. To date I can't be bothered with less than $50 credit. It's obvious he had jerked up the cost of the perm so the Colour cost only $50. How could the price years ago be $50 and $158 now. Super shady salon. Judging the other 3 positive feedback, maybe their technical skills had improved over the years. I won't advise you against giving them a try as the person in question had left, but signing up for package at hdb salon, do it at your risk.

Enjoyed my appointment at this salon. The staff were very warm and friendly, asking if i was comfortable from time to time. The stylist who did my hair as well (i forgot his name) listened to my request and understood what kind of haircut i wanted! I love that he even had his own input and suggestions for what length would flatter the shape of my face the most. Overall, a great experience.
