What is Astalift Jelly Aquarysta?

Made in Japan by internationally-renowned imaging, printing and biotech company Fujifilm, Astalift Renewal Jelly Aquarysta is a rejuvenating anti-ageing concentrate that looks like a jelly and spreads like a dream. Today, this newest formulation contains a powerful combination of unique ingredients to deeply treat and nourish the skin at a cellular level. Overall, its key ingredients include human-type nano-ceramides, nano-Astaxanthin, nano-Lycopene, Asenyaku extract and 3 types of collagen to boost cell renewal and collagen production. Let’s take a closer look at what each of these ingredients does for your skin:

Human-Type Nano-Ceramides

First of all, let’s talk about ceramides. Basically, ceramides are a chain of fatty acids known as lipids. They are naturally found within our skin cells and 50% of our epidermis (the external layer of our skin) consists of ceramides. Together with other important molecules in the skin, ceramides help to fortify your skin’s moisture barrier, regulate cellular function and shield your skin from environmental damage and dryness. Here, Astalift Jelly Aquarysta uses a highly-concentrated blend of 2 human-type nano-ceramides. The first, are nano-ceramides that closely mimic the ones in our skin to replenish lost moisture in our epidermis. The second, are nano-acyl ceramides that effectively lock in moisture and help to maintain optimal levels of hydration in the skin.

Nano-Astaxanthin

Developed in 2007 by Fujifilm, nano-astaxanthin is what gives Astalift Jelly Aquarysta its signature bold red colour. Astaxanthin is a red compound that’s naturally found in salmon, shrimp, lobster and other sea creatures. It offers 1,000 times the antioxidant content of coenzyme Q10. Plus, astaxanthin has the unique capability of accelerating wound healing and suppressing cellular damage from UV rays and free radicals. This newest formulation of Astalift Jelly Aquarysta uses a more powerful version of nano-astaxanthin than its predecessor. By shrinking its molecule size by 20%, nano-astaxanthin can now absorb quickly into the skin and deliver optimal antioxidant benefits to the epidermis.

Nano-Lycopene

Next, we have nano-lycopene. Lycopene is a powerful antioxidant that is commonly found in tomatoes, pomegranate and other red or pink-coloured fruits. Asenyaku Extract

Also known as gambir leaf extract, asenyaku extract is taken from the twigs and leaves of the evergreen gambir shrub. It is rich in a flavonoid derivative called catechin. Catechin is a natural antioxidant that neutralizes free radicals, stimulates collagen production and protects our skin from UV radiation. In addition to that, asenyaku extract helps to improve the skin’s moisture retention and barrier function.

Collagen

Finally, Astalift Jelly Aquarysta uses 3 types of collagen in its formulation. This includes the use of a water-soluble, permeable and pico collagen to balance the skin’s moisture levels and promote skin elasticity. Aside from augmenting the skin’s moisture retention capabilities, collagen helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and improve blood circulation for a radiant complexion.
