Himalayan Salt Face Toner

Mix a teaspoon of Himalayan salt and ¼ cup of purified water (you can use distilled water or mineral water). Mis in a glass or any non-reactive container. We like putting it in a clean jar with a lid, so it’s easier to shake and store.

Now you can use this salt toner for everything. Spritz on cotton pads and apply after cleanser to rebalance your skin PH and prevent acne. Or, soak several cotton pads and leave on your face for 10 minutes. You can also pour into a spray bottle and use it as a face mist. We love using that when we go to the gym – it’s refreshing and helps kill  bacteria!

You can store this salt solution for a week, but after that it’s better to make a fresh batch.

Himalayan Body Scrub

Mix 1 cup of Himalayan salt, ¼ cup of olive oil and a few drops of any essential oil. Rose or lavender smell amazing, and mint can help give a refreshing tingly feeling. If you have body acne or body odour, tea tree oil can work wonders!

Voila, you have a cheap, 100% organic and fully customizable body scrub.

Himalayan Elixir

Low on energy? Mix 2 cups of pure water, half a cup of orange or lemon juice, ¼ teaspoon of salt, and 1 tablespoon of honey. You can drink this after exercising or when you have the flu. The salt can help your body regain electrolytes and remove toxins.

However, if you have kidney disease or high blood pressure, talk to your doctor about how much salt you’re allowed to take a day.
