Review of the A For Apothecary’s Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol, Rose Glow Elixir, and Southern Alps Glacial Clay Masks

The A For Apothecary’s Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol derives from the prominent distillery located in the heart of French Riviera, surrounded by rich biodiversity. The wild lavender is harvested by hand yearly at 1450 meters mountain located in Caussols. With its distinctive technology, the essential nutrients and herbal elements are preserved during the distillation process. The first thing I notice is that the Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol has a pleasant scent and I instantly feel calm and relaxed the moment I spritz it to my face.

During the first day of the trial, I used it as a toner to prep my face before applying the Rose Glow Elixir. The Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol is unlike any face mist product I’ve encountered before, it just requires a few spritzes and my face feels instantly hydrated. Plus, a face mist is a beauty staple in my routine and I usually love to spritz it to my face every hour. So I was totally overjoyed that the Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol is a multipurpose product that can be used as a toner and face mist. Well, who doesn’t love a product that can practically do everything?

I’ve got to be honest since I’ve started using the Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol I have never looked back! I’ve substituted my regular go-to face mist with the Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol, this is how much I love their product! I always make sure that I refresh my skin by spritzing the face mist throughout the day whenever I need a little perk-me-up. Besides, it helps to soothe the skin, which is very much needed especially considering Singapore’s hot and humid weather. Apart from spritzing it to my face, I also use the Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol on my body and hair. I started to notice slight improvements just a few days after using it. My skin looks much radiant and moisturized, plus my hair is smoother as well.

Have you ever experienced a sudden problem when your skin is acting up? Well, if you do, welcome to the club. Every time when I feel that I need an asap treatment, I always look for a product that can calm my skin, and luckily the Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol delivers just that! Furthermore, with its size and multipurpose usage, I always carry it around whenever I’m outside. If you’re a makeup junkie, you can even spritz it to help refresh your skin after a long day outside. The Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol has been my life savior without a doubt. Did you know that this product can be used for newborns as well? The Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol is not only gentle but it effectively soothes and hydrates the baby’s skin, hair, and body. On top of that with its calming scent, it helps to put your little loved ones in a dreamland.

The Rose Glow Elixir features a powerful blend of organic cold-pressed oils namely Jojoba oil, Oat Lipid E, Rosehip Seed, Sea Buckthorn, Calendula, and Rosemary. In addition, this face oil is packed with antioxidants, ceramides, vitamins as well as omegas 3, 6, 7, and 9. To put it simply, it features all the essential ingredients that are needed to attain glowing skin. Honestly, I’m a face oil enthusiast and I’m always searching for the best face oil that is formulated with clean ingredients as well as organic. Hence I was super excited when I got my hands on the Rose Glow Elixir.

During the first day of the trial, I simply tested it out by applying a few drops of the Rose Glow Elixir into the back of my hand, and then I noticed that it easily absorbs into the skin. After I cleanse and prep my skin with an Organic Wild Lavender Hydrosol, I simply warm up 3 to 5 drops in the palms of my hand and gently massage it to my face and neck. I was pleasantly surprised to know that it does not leave any greasy residues like any other face oils.

Besides, it quickly absorbed into the skin, leaving me with a radiant-looking complexion. On top of that, the scent really helps to elevate my mood. Throughout the day, I notice that there are no acne bumps and excess oiliness on my face, which is a common skin problem whenever I use face oil. Thus I was eager to try it again the next day. My overall skincare routine consists of using the Rose Glow Elixir as a moisturizer during daytime and nighttime. However, I made sure to apply sunscreen before I went out. Especially at night or when I need extra TLC, I apply the Rose Glow Elixir and massage my face with a jade face roller to further enhance the benefits. I love waking up the next day after applying the Rose Glow Elixir as it makes my skin radiant and luminous.

Since I tried out the Rose Glow Elixir, I noticed that I started to have less acne, especially on my jawline, cheeks, and chin. I always have trouble dealing with skin issues related to hormonal imbalance, in which my skin feels dry and yet it overly produces sebum. Therefore finding the right product that can combat these issues is on my top wishlist. Frankly, I’ve tried countless skin care brands but nothing has prepared me for the life-changing moment that the Rose Glow Elixir has given me. It is truly a wonder to my skin. After I consistently used it, I found that my acne is almost nonexistent and my skin looks much healthier than before. I can definitely kiss goodbye to dull skin. If you were to ask my top favorite face oil, it has to be the Rose Glow Elixir!

The next products that I tested are the A For Apothecary’s Southern Alps Glacial Clay Masks, Detoxify Clay Mask: Glacial Clay + Norwegian Kelp, and Nourish Clay Mask: Glacial Clay + Colloidal Oats. These powdery form clay masks are infused with glacial clay that is sourced from a newly discovered deposit in Southern Alps, New Zealand. The Detoxify Clay Mask: Glacial Clay + Norwegian Kelp is suitable for all types of skins, especially those with combination or oily and acne-prone skin. Whereas the Nourish Clay Mask: Glacial Clay + Colloidal Oats will do wonders for people with dry or mature skin. Despite their differences, both clay masks can be used regardless of your skin type and they can effectively treat different skin concerns.

The Iceland Norwegian kelp and lavandin bud powder are added to the Detoxify Clay Mask: Glacial Clay + Norwegian Kel, in order to gently remove impurities and debris from the skin without stripping the skin of its natural layers and oils. Plus, it also helps to stimulate collagen production and effectively prevent signs of premature aging. Meanwhile, the Nourish Clay Mask: Glacial Clay + Colloidal Oats is fueled by a blend of organic aloe vera powder and pharmaceutical-grade colloidal oats to deliver intense hydration.

As I suffer from hormonal acne, a clay mask is a must-have skincare product to keep acne at bay. Hence, I was excited to give this preservative-free clay mask a try. If you have oily skin like I do, you can use the clay masks about twice per week. The best part about the Southern Alps Glacial Clay Masks is that I can customize it by adding nourishing ingredients like yogurt, honey, and even essential oils. After trying it out for the first time, I was surprised as my skin feels clean, softer, and smoother. Yes, I instantly fell in love with both of the Southern Alps Glacial Clay Masks after only trying them out for the first time.

I used the Southern Alps Glacial Clay Mask’s Detoxify Clay Mask: Glacial Clay + Norwegian Kelp, and Nourish Clay Mask: Glacial Clay + Colloidal Oats, depending on my skin’s conditions. If my skin feels quite dry and parched on that particular day, I would apply the Nourish Clay Mask: Glacial Clay + Colloidal Oats for a boost of extra hydration. My pampering session also includes using the A For Apothecary’s Southern Alps Glacial Clay Mask at night when I need a quick treatment to prevent breakouts.

After consistently using these clay masks about twice a week, I can see visible differences in my skin. I started to notice that I have fewer acne bumps and oiliness, plus my complexion is brighter than before. What I really love the most about the Southern Alps Glacial Clay Mask is that both products are formulated with nourishing and amazing ingredients. Besides, they provide gentle exfoliation, unlike other products that can be quite harsh on the skin. From the changes that I have seen so far, I truly believe that these clay masks are evidently effective. Regardless of your skin type, whether it is dry, sensitive, or even oily skin, the Southern Alps Glacial Clay Masks are essential products that you need to incorporate into your skincare routine.
