Hair accessories are one of the biggest hair trends. Sparkly pins, pretty head bands, and statement hair ties that immediately oomph to the ponytail.

Just look at how these celebs wore hair accessories to the 2019 Oscars. Which one would you wear to your next date or party?

Celebrity hairstylist Ursula Stephen used Dove Style+Care Curls Defining Mousse and Dove Style+Care Heat Protection Spray to set Letitia Wright’s Hair. All it needed was a scattering of pearl pins (he used hair spray mixed with gel to hold them in place).

Ashley Graham encircled her hair bun with small, dainty black ribbons. Don’t you love how it peeks out from behind? It’s these small details that turn a no-fuss hairstyle into an unforgettable look.

Here’s what it looks from behind:

But there’s more than one way to dress up a hairbun! Kate Bosworth’s stylist wove a crystal chain into her locks.

Gemma Chan’s tousled updo would look amazing on its own, but these pretty pin makes it perfect. It can hold a rebellious hair strand in place, and adds a cheeky, chic charm.

And there were headbands. This favourite schoolgirl staple just got all glamorous and all grown up.

And if you thought barrettes were basic, check out these Swarovski-encrusted pins on Elsie Fischer. The real thing goes for nearly US$100 dollars, but you can probably find something similar at any hair accessories store.

Camila Mendes also used hair pins to hold her sideswept curls.

But some celebs were so extra. Why stop at a hair band when you can have an entire silver fringe? Vernon Francois wove these strands into the back of Lupita
Nyong’o’s hairdo.

Of course, you could always go natural and organic — even with your hair accessories! Wear fresh flowers in your hair. (Or look for a pretty flower hairpin.)

BRB, shopping for hair accessories.
