Makeup Artist, Anda The Sea, Has Big Plans For the Future

Sweet, Gorgeous, and Driven; Anda The Sea is a Makeup Artist and content creator in Singapore with a huge passion for beauty and cats. The hardworking 25 year old owns three businesses while being a full time content creator on Instagram. Her three businesses are WearBums which is a fashion company specialising in jeans, BumOutSpace that takes indoor glamping to the next level, and PrettyFaceAcademy, where Anda provides makeup services and classes.

A true inspiring character, Beauty Insider was delighted to speak to Anda The Sea, and peak into her life and find out the story behind her passion towards beauty and her big plans for the future. Read on to find out what we talked about!

Who is Anda?

The real me is a 25yo crazy cat lady. Im currently working full time as a content creator and i also own my own businesses; Wearbums , BumOutSpace, and also PrettyFaceAcademy. However , how I am on screen is the same as off screen. So, I’m super transparent!

Who are your biggest inspirations? 

Honestly, myself. I’m huge on manifesting and believing that the best way to grow is to truly work on the best version of myself.

What are the most important things to you?

My cats and my family. But mainly my cats. I’m working super hard to be insanely rich so that I can be a cat mum full time!

Anda on Her Makeup Passion

What made you decide to pick up a makeup brush and start exploring makeup? 

Honestly when I was in Poly I was one of those girls who swore not to wear makeup in school. But, I finally succumbed to it in my final year when I realised the power of highlight! Haha Who knew looking like a glazed donut would be my inspiration?

What is the best part about makeup to you? 
Honestly, the ability to change or hide whatever you want or enhance whatever you have! I cant do fillers because my parents are super strict but with makeup I can fake it till I make it (; I’m super amazing at doing a kylie lip btw haha!

What is the one makeup tip that you learned and have stuck to ever since? 

Dark concealer then light concealer to fully hide dark circles. Works like magic, every single time.

What is the best and hardest part of being a makeup artist and content creator?

I love my job and what I do. Although, sometimes working daily and super long hours is intensely draining. It is to the point that I can’t differentiate whats work and what’s fun. Even when I go to spas or get massages I find myself unable to fully relax because I’m expected to do content or it’s for work. People think we are lucky but little do they know we would kill for a massage where no one bothered us and we can just relax and fall asleep.

What is the one makeup product that you can’t go without?

Hmmm, right now I would say cream blushers. They make me look awake or else I’ll look like a vampire. I love Sunnies Face and of course Rare Beauty!

Anda’s Dreams and Future Plans

What is your one dream that you want to achieve in regards to makeup and being an influencer?

I would love to switch my content to focus on educating. I want to educate my followers in my own way and I feel most girls relate to most of the things I go through. For instance, Acne, Insecurities, even toxic relationships or friendships. Honestly, I wish I had someone giving me the advice that I know now. It would’ve helped A LOT and my focus and priorities in life would have been super positive haha.

What is the one thing that you would like to explore as a content creator but haven’t yet?

I love travelling so definitely content in that direction once COVID is over! Or i could be a cat mumfluencer haha

Do you have any future projects that you are planning?

I am eventually going to start a makeup school for those who wanna learn customised skills catered to themselves!
