Lancome

About

Lancome was founded in 1935 by Guillaume d’Ornano and his business partner, Armand Petitjean. The name “Lancome” was inspired by the Lancosme forest located in the region of La Brenne in France, and was originally established to be a fragrance house. The founder initially launched Lancome with five perfumes, which were an immediate success. Shortly after that, the product range expanded onto offering skincare.

Lancome’s vision is to share the “French elegance” to the world by offering high-quality products to achieve excellent results, and to encourage women to be confident in their skin.

Today, the brand offers a wider range of products, from makeup to skincare lines, and is present in approximately 130 countries.
