The Cottage – Devonshire is a hair salon in Singapore. The charming classy sanctuary hidden behind the hustle and bustle of Orchard Rd has been used several times as a filming location for local Channel 5 drama “Tanglin” and its easy to see why.

The Cottage is the brainchild of Ito and Obara, both of whom are top Japanese stylists who have worked in one of Singapore’s top hair salons for the past few years. As their popularity grew, they wanted to build a team of passionate stylists whom they can share their techniques and philosophy with.

With these objectives in mind, they invited talented stylists from Japan and handpicked an up and coming local stylist to create The Cottage we see today. The popularity of The Cottage among Japanese and local customers within just the first few months of opening is a testament to Obara and Ito’s popularity as well as the strong stylist team that has won over customers with its skilled haircuts and top-notch Japanese service!
