The Quickest Way To ‘’Wake’’ Your Face

1. Apply moisturizer

It is important to prep and prime your skin especially early in the morning when the skin is fresh and repaired. Of course, proper skin care is essential before you begin to add any products. Whether you’re at home or not, always make sure to apply sunscreen. A sunscreen will not only protect your skin from the harmful UV rays but also from the device screen that contains blue and green lights. Make sure you use sunscreen, moisturizer, serum and face mist.

2. Put some eye cream

If you ever noticed, your tired and puffy eyes seem to be more visible on the camera. That’s because the camera tends to detect and pick up red and pink tones. So to fix this problem, make sure you use some hydrating eye cream or use a roller to help depuff your under eyes. If you don’t have any facial tools, massage them gently for a couple of seconds.

3. Add concealer

This is the most important part. To help you hide all those imperfections, apply concealer on all the spots that you need—under your eyes, the center of your forehead, and on your chin. Feel free to cover all the other red spots that you need. Instead of using a brush, dab it with your finger for a more natural and dewy look.

4. Minimal contour

To prevent looking “flat” on camera, opt for a soft contour. You can use contour to your best advantage right now because people aren’t actually seeing you in person. Sculpting your cheekbones into a whole new dimension? Now is the best time to do so!

5. Lip balm on

Last but not least, pat some lip balm onto your lips. You don’t need to go crazy with matte or bold lip matte, just a simple Vaseline or Burt’s Bees lip wax is enough for you. Afterall, you’ll probably go back to sleep after the meeting. No?

It’s no secret that Zoe Kravitz is all about those minimal looks. So if you’re looking for no makeup, makeup inspiration, look no further. For this fresh and dewy look, a smooth base is the key. Karlie Kloss’ monochromatic soft makeup look makes us want to put down those heavy contours. Her fair complexion really compliments those soft summery shades. Just like Zoe Kravitz’s makeup, make sure you’re using the same colour on your cheeks and eyelids. But for this look, add a minimal amount of highlight.

For this Hailey’s look, it’s really about keeping the brows natural and not over-filled and adding some sultry warm shadows around the eyes. For the same lip effect, choose a lip liner that is closest to your natural lip color, and just line and even fill in the lips with it!

5. Gigi Hadid

For Gigi Hadid’s look, caramel is the theme. Use a cream bronzer over a BB cream and with any leftover that you had, sipe it all on your eyelid. For the lip colour, find a brown colour that is similar to the rest of your skin. But don’t go overboard, though. Brown lips can either help elevate or diminish your look.

6. Emily Ratajkowski

Who doesn’t love them a little EmRata, though? To mimic her makeup, find something with orange undertones. Her summer sun-kissed bronzer paired nicely with orangey-nude lip colour. To seal them in place, spray some face mist. You’ll have that perfect beach-y tanned skin.

7. Lily Aldrige
