Just a couple of days back, Gigi Hadid went live on Instagram with Erin Parsons, Maybelline’s Global Makeup Artist to walk through a very natural, zoom-friendly makeup look. During the live session, Gigi spoke about her beauty regime, plastic surgery rumours and how her face started to change ever since she found out she was pregnant. For those of you who didn’t know, the model is expecting her first child with artist, Zayn Malk. 🤰🏼

Hadid mentioned while filling her brows People think I have fillers done on my face and that’s why my face is round. I have had cheeks since I was born. Especially fashion month, When I was already a few months preggo, y’know?”.

Additionally, Erin Parsons mentions that she was wondering how Hadid’s face would change, now considering the fact that she is six months pregnant. Gigi replies “I have the cheeks already, so there’s really not a lot to fill in”.

Then, Hadid shut down rumours about her having plastic surgery by mentioning “For those wondering if I have never put or injected anything into my face. I am so happy for everyone to do whatever they want that makes them happy and makes them feel more comfortable and good about themselves. Me, personally, it terries me. I feel like I am too much of a control freak. I’m like, what if it goes wrong?”.

On another note, for Hadid, makeup is her go-to tool that she uses to enhance her natural features further. She also adds “I think that people are so fast to do permanent things to their face. I’ve loved being like, I accept myself for how it is. It does not mean I don’t have insecurities sometimes, but for special occasions, you can sculpt your nose a little but more or do whatever with makeup”.

Not only that, she also says “Makeup is such a powerful and beautiful took that helps you feel your best for special moments but also to accept your beautiful face for exactly how God made it..and you mama and dada”.

When Hadid wants to sculpt her nose and cheeks, she uses the Maybelline City Bronzer in the shade 100 during her tutorial. She comments “I do have a round face so it just helps like, hone the warmness into the centre so the centre is highlighted. I lightly go under my chin also because I have a round face”.
