The future is bright! These five simple skincare tips can help fight dullness and pigmentation. You’ll see huge results in one month. Ready to get radiant skin? Read on!

Take a skin whitening supplement

Gluthathione is a super antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals, reduce cell damage (especially in the liver!) and fight oxidative stress. Aside from making your body stronger, it can also brighten your skin! That’s because glutathione lowers your body’s melanin levels. Dermatologists have used it for years in skin whitening and brightening treatments. But now, you can take this powerful antioxidant at home!

Aura White is a skin whitening supplement that combines glutathione with other nourishing ingredients. It has Vitamin C (which helps your body absorb glutathione), grape seed extract, apple extract, artichoke extract and camellia japonica seed extract. It’s also 100% vegan and natural!

Aura White’s nutrients help your skin in many ways:

  • Boost cell renewal
  • Lighten skin
  • Fades dark spots and pigmentation
  • Protects skin from UV rays

Aura White uses only quality, highly concentrated ingredients from Japan. The powder form is easy for the body to absorb – and so convenient to take everyday! Just take 1 sachet every morning before breakfast. You can just pour the powder into your mouth or mix with water.

Layer your sun protection

It’s not enough to apply sunscreen in the morning. You need to reapply it every 2 hours if you’re outdoors, and every 6 hours if you’re indoors. But we get it: it’s a hassle to reapply sunscreen over makeup. That’s why we recommend layering different kinds of sun protection products.

Use a cream face sunscreen in the morning, then reapply with a sunscreen spray. (We like La Roche-Posay Anthelios Invisible Face Mist, which has an invisible and ultra-light formula.) For extra defense, use skincare, makeup, and BB or CC creams that have additional UV protection.

And don’t forget: the SPF (or sun protection factor) number on sunscreen products depend on how much you’re putting on. So even if it says SPF 30, but you’re only applying a thin and sheer layer, you could actually be getting the equivalent of SPF 15. That’s why layering is so important!

Get a brightening moisturizer

There are tons of moisturizers that can brighten and even out your complexion. For maximum radiance, look for ingredients like hydroquinone, kojic acid, azelaic acid, licorice, mulberry extract, grape-seed extract, papaya (or papain), niacinamide, and Vitamin C. These are all known for their abilities to fight hyperpigmentation and discoloration.

Try a Vitamin C serum

Vitamin C is one of the best skincare ingredients for youthful, glowing skin! It neutralizes free radicals, boosts collagen production and reverses cell damage. It’s also a natural skin lightener, and can help fade spots and pigmentation.

If you have normal or oily skin, you can get a very potent Vitamin C serum. Skinceuticals C E Ferulic has 15% pure L-ascorbic acid (plus Vitamin E!). Its so concentrated that it’s effective for 72 hours after you apply it.

If you have dry or sensitive skin, pick a lower concentration of 7% to 10%, like Mario Badescu Vitamin C serum. You can also use it every other day, and alternate it with a calming and moisturizing serum.

Use a chemical exfoliator

Dead skin cells can make our skin look dull and prevent full absorption of our moisturizers and serums.

Instead of harsh, abrasive face scrubs, use products that contain chemical exfoliants. AHAs (glycolic and lactic acids) are great for dry and sun-damaged skin. BHAs like salicylic acid penetrate deeper into the skin and can also fight acne and blackheads.

If you have sensitive skin, look for a gentle formula that also has calming and moisturizing ingredients (we recommend Drunk Elephant T.L.C Sukari Babyfacial). Or, you can skip scrubs and just get a cleanser that sloughs off dead skin cells everyday (try Kiehl’s Clearly Corrective™ Brightening & Exfoliating Daily Cleanser).
