Being able to go out with your natural hair is a real flex, but just because you don't have one, doesn't mean you can't flex. There are still plenty of ways to flex it and the most important one is styling. When it comes to styling there’s plenty of ways to do it and you need to know which one suits you the best.
Hair Spray
Hair Spray is one of the most common hair styling products, it is sprayed onto your hair to protect it against humidity. The best one we have come across is L`Oreal Paris Elnett Satin Extra Strong Hairspray. This is one of the most basic hairspray that fits well for everything. Now if you want to use it on a daily basis, make sure you're using it in moderation, and wash your hair regularly so it doesn't get damaged.
Heat Protection
A heat Protection product adds a barrier of moisture to your hair, and this is for the sake of protecting your hair from heat, and preventing your natural moisture from evaporating. When it creates a barrier, not only does it protect your hair, it keeps it shining too! PS: Heat protectors cannot completely protect your hair from the heat, you have to take extra precautions too.
Hair Cream
Hair cream is a subtle styling cream that gives your hair a good natural looking shine. It tames your stray hairs without weighing them down. It is perfect for those oily hair gals with frizzy hair. You are encouraged to use it before and after you shampoo your hair. Just like any other oil for your hair, hair cream promotes hair growth and strengthens your root.
Pomade
Hair pomade is mostly used by mens, it doesn't hold your hair much, but it gives the shine you need. One of the pros of pomade is you are allowed to fix your hair throughout the day and it will not dry out nor change your style. Since pomades are not made by water-baes, one of their drawbacks is that your face gets greasy really quick, or even anything your hair touches. Besides, it is difficult to wash, and if it's not done properly, you might have hair loss and scalp problems.
Mousse
Hair mousse is one of the light-weight hair styling products that adds volume to your hair. It doesn't cause clumps or extra build-ups. You are supposed to apply your mousse to wet hair right before you want to style it. Mousse is like Botox, only this time it is for your hair, it makes your curls and waves look extra bouncy. Not only that, it can also help you to smooth out unwanted frizz.
