What Is Long Lush 2020 Washway?

long lush 2020 washaway

Staying close to its Christmas tradition, this year Lush went with something little different instead of launching a new collection. This year together with Fairmont Singapore, Lush hosted an experiential staycation. The Long LUSH 2020 Washaway is an initiative to spread love and more positivity going into 2021. Converging both online and offline, the event had 50 media and key opinion leaders.

“With the challenges of 2020, we knew we needed to take a different approach for the launch of our Christmas range this year, and in doing so, it felt natural for us to go back to where it began for us – the bath.” Nafees Khundker, Director of Lush Singapore.

The Long Lush 2020 Washaway is the brand’s first-ever synchronised bathing session. Guests tuned in digitally from the comfort of their own Fairmont bathtub and listened to a meditative narrative which guided guests to reflect, relax and enjoy their moment of peace. The 20-minute reflective session was streamed on Instagram Live via @lushsingapore for consumers to experience simultaneously.

What Are Other Highlights Of The Long Lush 2020 Washaway?

From skincare to bathing, guests were truly LUSH-immersed upon arrival. Lush’s new Christmas collection products were all around the room for them to explore, discover and experience. To make the experience merrier for each of the guests, Lush held an interactive Masterclass via Zoom. The Masterclass included informative content and hands-on sessions by UK-based Lush Product Inventor Alessandro Commisso, Lush Head of Creative Direction Suzie Hackney and Jacqueline Tan of Lush charity partner, Soap Cycling Singapore.

Then, the guests got their hands dirty while making their very own The Comforter Bubble Bar. Apart from that, the guests indulged in a three-course vegetarian dinner by Chef Kirk Westaway of the eponymous JAAN. The sumptuous dinner was accompanied by a wide range of handcrafted Christmas cocktails. To close the staycation experience, guests attended an exclusive Yoga Session by Lululemon Ambassador Dawn Sim @thatmomoffour.
