This was probably the most affordable yet all shade inclusive foundation that found its way to our shores. We are not huge fans of it however it does the job it says. This long wear foundation will last all day. It provides medium to high coverage and manages to control shine at least for the first 4 hours. Use with a primer to maximise its staying power. Our biggest gripe is at 25 ml it is not the most value for money option we have.

We have raved about this product before and after over 4 months of use we love it even more. This foundation is the perfect base for an all over even complexion ideal for most women. However, if you’re going for a more “no makeup” makeup look, half a pump is perfect for to use as a cc cream. Skip your concealer and colour corrector, this baby will do it all for you! The foundation is available in 12 shades.

For our dry and dark skin ladies it was a struggle to be that matte all day. We are in love with the newest hydrating range that moisturises you all day in that air-conditioned office. The tricky part about this is it must be used with the hydrating primer to stay moisturised all day. A setting power is essential to bring down the shine with this.

Mac Cosmetics Studio Fix Fluid SPF 15

A makeup artist favourite this is the perfect amp for that event or wedding. The studio fix looks great even in flash photography and covers even the most intense hyper-pigmentation. We love this for those dark skin girls who want to serve up looks at a wedding or at the hawker centre. The shades go as dark as 60 and each colour has a warm and cool toned version. With up to 57 shades this is great for dark skin girls!

This is definitely a pricey option, however it is important to note that with this a little goes a long way. The foundation looks like nothing on the skin and can go from light to medium to heavy depending on the coverage you like.. A favourite among makeup artists, it does take some skill to learn how to use it for your skin. We recommend going for the areas that have blemishes or bigger pores first and then using it as concealer for spots or pigmentation.

This is a holy grail, heaven sent product. Unfortunately, this only has 9 shades which excludes our darker skin ladies. The shades go as far as tan/medium deep skin which is a total pity. This is a personal favourite of ours and we really hope they will bring in more shades to Singapore. An important thing to note is that with an SPF of 20 we suggest you include a spf primer before applying this.

This is perfect for the older ladies. Covering over 40 shades, this foundation does not feel like makeup but provides a decent coverage. The Spf is disappointing for Singapore so make sure you top it up with sunscreen, however, it truly provides the coverage you need no matter the skin type. A good all rounder, the only tough point about it is the price point. If you are willing to look past it we urge you to try it out. Every one who has – loves it!
