American-Palestinian Twin DJ’s Simi and Haze Khadra just dropped a major bombshell on 28th of July, 2021, to announced that they have launched their own beauty brand called SIMIHAZE BEAUTY. The twins took to Instagram to shared the news with their fans with the caption saying, ‘’Not your average sticker book.’’ 

The makeup is believed to have a neon-hued, holographic and pressed-on type of makeup. And it makes us wonder.. Is this the future of the beauty world? Eye Play by SimiHaze Beauty 

According to the 25-years-old duo, they wanted to create something that can be referred to as ‘’minimal optical’’. Which is something that is the maximum amount of output with a minimum amount of effort. To be honest, we have no idea what that exactly means, but it looks like what they envision finally came to fruition. Because we’re loving the concept so far. 

The first product that they chose to launch was a makeup palette called Eye Play. It consists of a neon-hued and holographic theme and elements to it. Simi said this eye palette is truly something different from any other eye palette that we could find in the market. Because first and foremost, it is sticker makeup. And secondly, she said they designed makeup which are really long-lasting, comfortable and easy to use. Each of the products were made precisely for the highest quality and not to mention, aesthetically pleasing. 

Not Your Average Makeup

As you can see the packaging, it was sealed perfectly in a sleek, pink and green coloured which reflected the duo’s love of art and design. Haze further explained, their vision was to create a line that will not only bring colour to your life but to add as an efficiency to your everyday life. The palette served as ‘’a story’’ with its high curation and serving humanity by making our life easier. Wow, that’s truly something, huh?

But it doesn’t stop there. Each one of their products consists of some of the powerful ingredients that are often found in skincare staples. Sami and Haze wanted to make sure that the textures felt weightless and moisture infused—and so, hydrating elements such as Hyaluronic Acid and Jojoba Oil, along with its innovative and advanced technology are the main ingredients when it comes to producing the SamiHaze Beauty line. Oh also, did we mention that it is cruelty-free? 

All The Products Dropped

Other than their neon-artistic pressed on eye stickers, the Palestinian DJs also dropped a few products to join the first collection. Some of the beauty items include Sun Flush All Over Tint, the Lip Trace Liner and the Velvet Blur Matte Lip Balm. Simi further explained that each product can play its own part, depending on the user’s creativity. The matte lipstick, with just one stroke can give you a total vibrant and high-intensity look. 

The balm however, is super hydrating. You should want to bring them everywhere in your make up bag, though. Because of Jojoba Oil as one of the main ingredients, they can help in aiding and eliminating all those dry and flaky looking lips. And bring back all that lost moisture and hydration to your lips. And even though they were widely known for their DJ-ing career, everyone’s fully aware of the twins excellenatry and bold style. They explained that music has always been a part of showing their expression to the world, but makeup is an essential tool to display their feelings, too. They said, ‘’We often share our emotions with fans via our music career but now, we wanted to create something that is as equally connected and memorable as our music.’’
