How to Apply a Single-Color Eyeshadow?

Firstly, apply an eye primer on your eyelid to helps the eyeshadow stay in place. You can use your finger, q tip, or even a brush for even application. Then choose the eyeshadow your choice, you can opt for a neutral shade or even a bold color based on your preference. Afterward, pick a soft eyeshadow brush and apply it to your eyelid. Avoid applying the eyeshadow past the inner corner of the eyelid or extend towards the temple.

Blend the eyeshadow on your crease towards the brow bone using a clean brush. Make sure to blend it along with the eye socket, starting from the inner corner of the eye to the end of the brow. Then finish it off with eyeliner of your choice and mascara.

If you’re going for neutral eyeshadow makeup, it’s important that you choose an eyeshadow color that suits your skin tone. Especially for people with fair to light tone, it is recommended that you opt for flesh tone Peach or pink eyeshadow.

However, if you have medium to dark skin tones, caramel, and soft brown eyeshadow will help to enhance your features. The rule of thumb is that the color of the eyeshadow needs to be slightly dark than your skin tone and suits the undertone as well.
