There will forever be a fresh, exciting, the oh-my-god moments about beauty trends that sweep the fashion runways at New York Fashion Week. As it turns out, there were tons of glamorous looks strewn all over the backstage makeup stations at Marc Jacobs’ Spring/Summer 2019 this season, and we rounded up a few of our favourites from Marc Jacobs Beauty.
The beauty looks from Marc Jacobs’ Spring/Summer 2019 showcase at New York Fashion Week were inspired by the popular pastel style of the 1950s – just with a modern twist. There were classic, colourful, and old school pop princess, and one thing’s for sure — they were all fabulous.
Lead makeup artist Diane Kendal kept the focus on the eyes with hues of baby pink, blue and yellow washed across the lids, tight-lined eyes, and loads of lashes, which were then complemented by clean skin and a sheer glossy lip.
To top it all off, nail connoisseur, Jin Soon Choi, buffed nails for the manicures, and used six new Enamored Hi-Shine Nail Lacquer shades in Satin finishes for the pedicures – for a thoughtfully curated Marc Jacobs Beauty look from head to toe.
NYFW is supposed to be all about trend-setting and bold statements. Fortunately, the pendulum is always swinging back to more intricate beauty looks on the runway, and the Marc Jacobs’ Spring/Summer 2019 season has delivered us a whole new menu of makeup trends. Be right back, we’ve got a beauty mood board to fill!
