Dying to know the exact shade of lipstick or the drugstore lashes that celebs wore as they walked the red carpet? Their makeup artists reveal what was in their makeup kit.

Constance Wu’s red lipstick flatters all skin tones. Her makeup artist Molly Greenald lined her lips in Pat McGrath Labs Permagel Ultra Lip Pencil in Major Red, and filled it in with Pat McGrath MatteTrance Lipstick in Vendetta.

Awkwafina’s eyeshadow brought out the beauty of her almond-shaped monolid eyes. Her makeup artist used Giorgio Armani Beauty Eye Tint in Gold Ashes all over the lid, and accentuated the top and bottom lash lines with Giorgio Armani Beauty Eyes to Kill Eye Quattro Eyeshadow in Fame.

Gemma Chan was a vision in pink. Ger makeup artist used Cle de Peau Beaute’s Cream Blush # 2 on her cheeks, thne mixed it with Cle de Peau Beaute Lipstick in Lotus Flower to get that pretty pink pout.

Lady Gaga’s eyeshadow was simple but striking. Her makeup artist used a matte blue-gray Marc Jacobs Beauty Fineliner Eye Crayon Eyeliner (look for shade Steeletto) just along her lashline.

Jennifer Hudson’s natural makeup also used all-natural makeup products: Burt’s Bees Goodness Glow Liquid Makeup, Mattifying Powder, and Blush in Toasted Cinnamon. For the eyes and lips, she used Burt’s Bees Eyebrow Pencil and Eye Shadow Trio in Blooming Desert. Her lips were a simple and moisturizing combo of Burt’s Bees Hydrating Lip Oil and Burt’s Bees Liquid Lipstick in Pouring Rain.

Ashley Graham’s makeup was all from Revlon — after all, she is the brand ambassador. Her makeup artist KAte Synnott used Revlon Photoready Candid Natural Finish Foundation and Revon Photoready Candid Anti-Oxidant Concealer, then applied the Anti-Pollution Setting Powder.

For cheeks, she used Revlon Instant Cheek Maker and Powder Blush. Her dramatic eyelook is actually really easy to achieve: a swipe of Revlon Colorstay Cream Eyeshadow in Cognac, with definition from the Revlon Colorstay Looks Book Eye Shadow Palette in Enigma.

Black eyeliner, Volumazing Mascara, and strong brows using just Revlon ColorStay Browcreator in Soft Brown, and she’s ready to slay the red carpet.

Rachel Goodwin, who’s been doing Emma Stone’s Oscar’s makeup for 6 years, drew inspiration from the star’s futuristic sculptural gown. She chose a graphic eye look, applying Sisey Paris Phyto Eye Twist in shade 11 Copper on the lid, crease and lower lashline. For further definition, she applied Phyto-Khol Star Waterproof Eyeliner in Sparkling Brown and then intensified the colour with Phyto Ombre Glow eyeshadow in Amber.
