Try This Easy Harley Quinn-Inspired Makeup Look For Halloween!

With Halloween creeping up on us, it’s time to have fun and play with makeup! Since we can’t attend physical parties right now due to social distancing, that doesn’t mean we can’t bring the party to us! Got a virtual Halloween party to attend this weekend? Then grab a hold of your makeup bag and get ready with us! Here, makeup artist Luna shows us how to create this fun and easy Harley Quinn-inspired jester makeup look.

This look is surprisingly easy to recreate! So grab your best black eyeliner pencil and eyeshadow you have on hand and let’s get started!

It’s all about the eyes

After applying your foundation and concealer like you normally would, let’s get cracking with the eye makeup. First, you’ll want to start by applying a wash of black or dark grey eyeshadow all over your eyelid. To define the crease, pack on the black eyeshadow on the outer corners of your eyes to create a cat-like shape. Then, line your upper and lower lash and water line with a black eyeliner pencil before smoking it out with the black eyeshadow from before. Give your lashes a good curl and apply lashings of mascara for a touch of drama.

Now for the fun part – creating the signature jester markings! Take your black eyeliner pencil or a thin brush dipped in gel eyeliner to create the markings under your eyes. Just have fun with it and create artificial tears below the inner corners and center of your lower lash line. Then, draw a triangle above each brow before finishing all corners with a black dot. You can use a Q tip or a brush to tidy up any harsh edges and keep everything nice and blended.

Once you’re done with the eye makeup, you can finish the look with a dark lipstick shade of your choice for a sultry and gothic vibe.
