Getting to Know QN Wellness

So, Dave, spill the beans. What’s the story behind QN Wellness and how did you chaps come up with the idea for PROST-AID?

QN Wellness started as early as 2007 and it was called Q&N. We are best known for our Bone and Joint Health products known as Bone Essential and Plant Glucosamine.

PROST-AID is our fifth Product after Cool Beauty and Omega Tree. All our products are plant-based, which means healthier and easier for the human body to absorb. They are also non-GMO, gluten-free friendly, and suitable for vegetarians.

Estimates suggest that as many as 50% of men experience symptoms of prostatitis at some point in their lives. It can affect men of all ages but is more common in those under 50.

Prostate enlargement (Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia or BPH) is another common health issue faced by men. By the age of 60, over 50% of men will have some form of BPH. 

By age 85 the number can increase to about 90%. According to the American Cancer Society, about 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during their lifetime. Thus, taking care of their prostate health is very important.

We know the prostate needs the right nutrients to keep it healthy and most men will face prostate health issues in their lifetime. Thus, we came out with our full plant-based supplement PROST-AID.     

Tackling Prostate Health

Prostate health isn’t the most casual dinner table topic. How does QN Wellness make it more approachable, and what’s the deal with PROST-AID?

Making a prostate health supplement more approachable can be challenging due to the sensitive nature of the topic. 

We try to promote prostate health in a more relatable and approachable manner involving destigmatising the topic, making it easily understandable, and highlighting its importance. Here’s how we approach it by share customer testimonials which real-life stories of men who have benefited from our product. 

Other than that, we also take part in exhibitions that talk about men’s health such as the ELDEX ASIA exhibition (which will be held at Suntec on the 3rd and 4th of Nov 2023) where there is a panel of doctors sharing on prostate health.

We conduct TikTok live 3 times a week (every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday 2 pm to 4 pm) to share our product’s benefits. 

Sometimes, it’s essential to be direct about the consequences of neglecting prostate health, and provide statistics and facts, but in a way that promotes action rather than fear. 

We also engage with influencers on social media, highlighting the importance of prostate health, and ride on their influence to send the message to their followers.

Going Natural with Prost-Aid

I heard that PROST-AID is all about plant-based goodness. What’s the scoop on using natural stuff for promoting prostate health, and why did you guys go that route?

We believe in natural nutrition and sustainability. Plant-based products typically have a smaller environmental footprint. 

They often require less water, land, and energy to produce than animal-based products. Plant-based supplements offer a more natural source of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients often coming in forms that are more easily recognised and absorbed by our bodies.

We used plant-based additives while non-plant-based counterparts often used synthetic fillers and additives.

Plant-based supplements are easier to digest. Plant-based supplements usually do not contain common allergens found in animal-derived products, such as dairy or shellfish. Thus, you can see all our products are plant-based, not only Prost-Aid.

Lastly, plant-based supplements cater to a growing population of vegetarians, vegans, and other individuals who follow specific diets for health, environmental, or ethical reasons.

Prostate Awareness Month at QN Wellness

It’s Prostate Awareness Month, and QN Wellness is in the mix. How are you guys contributing to men’s health awareness, and what’s the story behind PROST-AID being in the spotlight?

The wellness industry is continually evolving, and staying up to date with the latest trends is crucial for us.

Plant-based diets and plant-derived supplements are on the rise due to health and environmental concerns. Especially now that the ocean has been further contaminated.

We are on trend to expand more product lines to include more plant-based supplements and promote the benefits of plant-based nutrition in our content and marketing materials.

Mental health and mindfulness are becoming increasingly important. People are looking for products and services that help reduce stress and promote mental well-being. 

We also develop products that support mental health, with ingredients known to reduce stress and anxiety, and increase focus and memory.

Personalisation is also a major trend in the wellness industry. We are exploring the possibility of offering personalised supplement plans or consultation with nutritionists.

Lastly, consumers are increasingly conscious of the environmental impact of the products they use. Eco-friendly and sustainable products are gaining popularity. We are considering transitioning to more sustainable packaging and sourcing ingredients responsibly.

Sensuality Meets Health

Now, sensuality and health don’t usually hang out together. How does QN Wellness strike a balance between being sensual and serious about health, especially with products like PROST-AID?

Balancing sensuality and health, especially in products like PROST-AID, can be achieved by focusing on a holistic approach that addresses both physical and emotional well-being.

We acknowledge the sensitive nature of the topic and approach it with empathy. We let our audience know that we understand the challenges men may face in discussing prostate health.

In our TikTok live, we share educational content that provides valuable information about prostate health. We share stories and testimonials that humanise the experience.

Dave’s Quick Tips for Men’s Health

If you were giving some chill advice to blokes about taking care of themselves, what would it be? And does it involve PROST-AID or just good vibes?

Staying positive and happy are the best ways to stay healthy. 

Our emotions will affect our health, so try not to overreact to a situation or illness. While we are healthy and strong, start investing in our health with plant-based supplements like Prost-aid, Omega Tree (omega 3,6,9 from Flaxseed), Bone Essential, etc. 

Embrace a balanced lifestyle, eat healthy, stay hydrated, and get more sleep. A well-rounded lifestyle can make us feel like a million bucks. Our health is the best investment in life.

Looking into the future, we are planning to expand our product line to address various aspects of men’s health, from heart wellness and anti-ageing to mental well-being. This will position QN Wellness as a comprehensive brand for men’s holistic health.

We will also explore opportunities for international expansion, particularly in markets with a growing interest in wellness and men’s health.

Collaborate with nutritionists to open wellness centres or clinics that offer a range of health services and expertise. These can be physical or virtual centres.
