Step 1: Makeup remover:

DHC Deep Cleansing Oil 200ml (Available at Watsons stores for $31.90)

Skincare Product

Putting oil on your skin may seem counter-intuitive, but it is actually one of Michelle Phan’s favourite way of removing makeup! This cleansing oil easily melts away even the toughest waterproof makeup without stripping the skin of its natural moisture, leaving it feeling hydrated and supple. The formula is surprisingly watery, yet it is rich in vitamins and anti-oxidants that help rejuvenate the skin after wearing a full face of makeup.

Massage the oil onto the skin with dry hands first to remove any leftover makeup. After a few minutes, add some water and continue to massage the milky emulsification into the skin for added hydration before washing it off. The result? Clean, refreshed and hydrated skin!

Step 3: Exfoliator/Scrub

Cure Natural Aqua Gel (Available at Watsons stores for $35.00)

This exfoliator is sold every 12 seconds in Japan, and we understand why.

This exfoliator has a jelly-like consistency and works similar to a chemical peel. It reacts with dead skin cells causing them to ball up for easy removal, preventing unwanted tugging and pulling of your skin. Unlike a chemical peel however, this gel exfoliator is made of up 90% water without any artificial colouring, fragrance and alcohol, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin and acne-prone skin.

Step 4: Toner

Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pads (Available at Watsons stores for $17.90)

New to acid toning? Give these a try!

The Cosrx One Step Pimple Clear Pads help to remove impurities and regulate sebum production on the skin with Beta Hydroxy Acids (BHAs, aka salicylic acid), which acts as an exfoliant. It encourages cell turnover, allowing serums and moisturisers to penetrate deep down into the skin, preventing acne breakouts and revitalises the skin from within.

Each pad has 2 different textures on each side. The embossed side gently scrubs the skin with BHA, removing leftover makeup and encouraging cell turnover. The smooth side helps to wipe away all the impurities while revitalising the skin. These pads are best used after cleansing to maximise the benefits of any serums or moisturisers applied after!
