What is CoolSculpting?
CoolSculpting is a non-invasive procedure that breaks down fat cells through the cryolipolysis process. Unlike other types of fat reduction procedures, CoolSculpting does not require surgery or laser treatment. The extreme cold permanently removes fat cells without damaging the skin cells.
How CoolSculpting Works?
During the procedure, a gel pad is placed on the targeted area to protect the skin. The applicator is then applied for a specified amount of time and temperature, depending on the area. Typically, the treatment lasts up to 35 minutes, but for the outer thighs, it may take an hour and 15 minutes. For the chin area, the treatment requires about 45 minutes. If you choose to treat several areas, the practitioner may use multiple devices simultaneously. Once the procedure ends, the practitioner will massage the area to break down the crystallised fat cells. After the session concludes, you can resume your daily activities as usual, as there is zero downtime.
Where are the Areas that CoolSculpting Can Treat?
CoolSculpting can be performed on various areas of the body, including the abdomen, arms, thighs, back bulge, love handles and flanks, double chin, bra fat, as well as under the buttocks.
Are You a Good Candidate for CoolSculpting Treatment?
This procedure is designed to target and address unwanted fat in specific areas. Individuals experiencing fat bulges in particular areas of the body can consult with medical professionals to determine if they are suitable candidates for CoolSculpting. Additionally, it serves as an option for those considering non-invasive treatments rather than surgical procedures. Contrary to a common misconception, it is not a weight loss procedure, such as gastric bypass, intended to address obesity.
When Can You Start Seeing the Results?
Typically, results become visible two to six months after the CoolSculpting treatment. Some individuals may notice results as early as three weeks. Furthermore, fat cells continue to be eliminated for up to four to six months following the treatment.
How Much Does CoolSculpting Cost in Singapore?
The estimated cost of CoolSculpting procedure is about $600 per applicator and usually, it requires 10 applicators to treat one area. Plus, a few sessions are needed for better results.
