1. Hi Dr Donna, can you tell us a little bit about Arium Clinic and its philosophy?

Arium Clinic was incorporated in November 2019 and first opened its doors in April 2020, 3 days before the government announced the circuit breaker due to the Covid-19 pandemic. While the initial startup journey was a difficult one, we rode the waves of challenges with a positive attitude and spirit.

From conception to birth of the business, I was personally involved every step of the way. We believe that everything has beauty but not everyone sees it. Our philosophy revolves around discovering beauty in everyone who walks through our doors. The magic of medical aesthetics lies in the subtle and yet distinct transformation in one’s physical appearance. It may be as simple as removing a sun age spot or improving an acne scar. Our ultimate aim is to bring out the confidence in our patients using the least invasive of methods, with minimal downtime.

At the same time, we offer women health screening to our patients. We strongly believe that the focus of aesthetics should not be just on a person’s physical appearance. It is also equally important to maintain good health through regular screening and early detection and prevention of disease.

2. What inspired you to establish Arium Clinic?

After a decade working in various medical aesthetic clinics, I felt that I wanted to be personally present for my patients throughout their journey of self-love and discovery. This passion became the motivation to set up my own practice where I can oversee my patients’ progress and be able to provide them with what they need in their journey towards greater confidence and ultimately happiness.

6. Can you walk us through the process of the Radiant Eye Lift treatment from start to finish?

Every new patient will undergo a personalized consultation with me where I will assess if he/she is a suitable candidate for Radiant Eye Lift treatment. I will tailor the treatment according to the patient’s skin condition and discuss the number of sessions needed.

Our clinic therapist will prepare the patient for the procedure by cleansing the delicate skin around the patient’s eyes. Photos may be taken for medical record purposes. During the treatment, I will gently lift the skin area while applying the device to deliver the necessary energy for treatment. No numbing cream is needed as the treatment is relatively pain-free and comfortable.
