Embracing our natural look is our thing—we don’t just conceal imperfections with makeup, we fix them with our skin care routines and sometimes, aesthetic treatments.

Here are ten simple tricks that will make you look naturally flawless without wearing makeup:


Shape your Eyebrows


The eyebrows are one of the face’s important features. In western makeup, they always want their brows on fleek while we want ours subtle. The best way to have natural-looking brows is to shape it according to your face and eye shape. People blessed with thicker brows can shape theirs through threading. This process is a lot faster compared to tweezing. 👌




If you have thin brows, you can always run to salons that offer eyebrow embroidery services. Their eyebrow specialists always match your new brows with your important facial features such as hair colour, face and eye shape. If you’re not ready to try eyebrow embroidery to enhance your eyebrows,  go natural. Apply castor oil on your brows and massage it to stimulate the hair follicles. Leave it on for 30 minutes before you wash it off with lukewarm water and soap. Use Sunscreen


Too much exposure to the sun speeds up the ageing process. This is because ultraviolet radiation hypes the appearance of wrinkles, fine lines, and dark spots. Always use skin care and makeup products with SPF so you’re sure you’re wearing protection whenever and wherever you are.


Don’t rub your skin too much


It’s not ideal to wash your face more than twice a day. First, your skin produces natural oils to keep itself moisturised. Washing this oil off every time only triggers your sebaceous glands to produce more oil.




It’s best to wash your face before bedtime. Follow it up with your regular skincare routine. In the morning, your bath is enough to clean your face.  Never rub your skin too much. That means face scrubs or other means to exfoliate your skin should be limited to once a week.

We don’t recommend that you follow a celebrity or any famous person’s diet. What we want you to do is to eat a balanced meal and drink at least eight glasses of water every day. 😊  The food you eat will reflect in your skin.




And finally, wear the right colours!




This is more on the fashion side of beauty, but choosing the right colour of your clothes plays an important role on the look of your skin. For example, it’s not advisable for people with pale skin to wear white. Put on clothes with bright colours such as blue, turquoise, emerald, red, or peach. Your clothes can enhance the appearance of your skin. 🙂
