Yearning for that tinge of class and splash of oriental taste in your annual Chinese New Year OOTD? Beauty Insider has got the perfect guide for you! We have curated the top spots for the ultimate CNY #OOTD straight from Singapore’s Beauty Influencers. Give your Instagram game that much needed edge this year of the pig!

Emerald Hill

This classic shophouse location is an enclave of girls having their picture taken. However, what many people do not know is the hidden bar on emerald hill called No.5. Having been around since the early 90’s, No.5 has gorgeous red lanterns hanging from the ceiling for your perfect CNY OOTD. Achieve Instagram goals while having a quick drink !

Emerald Hill is located just opposite 313 Shopping Centre along Somerset Road.

1,000 Soul Japanese Cemetery

It might seem eerie to shoot in a cemetery but as long as you are respectful and quick we’re certain you will get the shot you need. This location has blown up over the last year and is still one of our personal favourites. The flowers add the perfect tinge of pink you need to your annual #OOTD.

The cemetery is located at Yio Chu Kang and is easily accessible by buses 43, 70, 70M or 116 from Serangoon MRT Station.

National Gallery

The National Gallery has seen many an OOTD or even a bridal shoot, however, the steps leading up to it has in our opinion the best views. With classic British colonial style architecture, the National Gallery is an easily accessible place for your CNY OOTD. Simply secure a spot when the sun is high in the sky and get a picture that will last a lifetime.

Merci Marcel

This location is exactly where Andrea Chong herself had her wedding. Filled to the brim with lovely treats, this gem snugly located in Tiong Bahru is the place for a local Influencer to be seen. Every corner is the perfect Instagram with cool, coloured walls and the perfect amount of greenery, Merci Marcel will fulfil your CNY OOTD dreams.

Prudential Fair

The Prudential Fair located at Marina Bay is a world of buzz and laughter. The bright colours and fun atmosphere is the perfect place to spend the day and snap an OOTD this Chinese New year.

This is best for those who want to buck the trend and stick to more muted tones like white or silver this year of the pig. Watch your Instagram likes soar with this gorgeous photo on your feed!
