An artist, creative visionary and innovator, celebrity makeup artist Albert Kurniawan takes on the world with the launch of his beauty brand Téviant in Singapore. An homage to his mother Tevianty who sparked his love for beauty, it celebrates the tenacious, confident and independent individual. Working with an extensive manufacturer and team in Italy, the award-winning range has been formulated and infused with the finest cosmetic and active ingredients that benefit the skin.

Get To Know Albert Kurniawan 

From a young age, he has been inspired by the beautiful and confident women in his family. Realising the power that makeup has to transform and make people look and feel beautiful, he eventually fell in love with makeup artistry and decided to follow his passion to become a makeup artist. Since then, Albert has painted the faces of some of the most elegant Asian superstars, fashion superstars and royal families such as Heart Evangelista, Pia Wurtzbach, Megan Young and “Princess” Syahrini. After 10 years in the industry in 2018, he created Téviant with the goal of uplifting the makeup industry – both the art itself and the artists. 

He pays homage to the first woman who sparked his love for beauty—his mother and Téviant’s namesake, Tevianty. From leading important conversations on social issues to building a community of strong, open-minded individuals, Albert redefines what it means to find strength in beauty while sharing his passions with the world.

Works really well even on oily lids.

Téviant’s dazzling cheek palette. This blusher has a special formulation which includes an effective level of active ingredients such as collagen booster, apricot oil, vitamin E, anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, helping to regulate sebum production. 

Lip Spell (Titleholder), $38.90

Téviant’s natural lipstick for everyday wear. All vivid colors are specially selected for the Asian woman along with a hydrating matte lip finish. Albert and his team came up with this lightweight formula to ensure a good smooth color release, comfortable to last all day and night. 

Mon Cheri Mascara, $28.90

Téviant’s long-lasting mascara. Waterproof and smudge-proof, the mascara makes lashes appear longer and fuller. Its double wands are composed of tiny fibers that add intense volume and definition to the lashes. The key is to stroke outward from the base for a dramatic effect, which lashes can stay curled up to 20 hours.

Eyebrow Tint (Herself), $19.50

Téviant’s fuss-free eyebrow tint. This special 4-point brush tip mimics hair strokes in the eyebrows to produce a 3D microblading look. It has a long-lasting formulation and is super easy to use. Apply directly on fresh and dry brows to maintain the rich pigment.
