However, it is evident that this is not Kanye’s first beauty and cosmetics trademark. In the yearn 2017, the artist filed a similar trademark for Donda cosmetics, which was named after his mother who passed on in the year 2007. Not only that, Forbes magazine recently announced that Kanye West reached a billionaire status this year. The credit for this goes to his sold-out sneakers and his fashion partnership with the all-famous Adidas.

However, Kim Kardashian, Kanye’s wife was about his possibility beauty line back in 2017 and she replied saying “I have no idea where that came from. That’s not true”. She added, “He’s always talked about doing stuff like that, but I don’t think anything is in the works”.

Besides the beauty industry, Kanye West also signed a licensing deal with Jay-Z and Rihanna. this was to launch a line of perfume with Parlux, back in the month of April 2009. However, West was the only one of the three to not have any scents come to fruition.

Apparently, a rep from Parlux was reached out to a couple of years back, and West’s deal fell through at a point of time before Parlux merged with Perfumania back in 2012.

To add on, what’s even interesting is that it is said if Kanye’s Yeezy beauty line does indeed launch, it will join Kim’s KKW Beauty and KKW Fragrance brands, as well as Kylie Cosmetics and Kylie Skin, as a part of the family’s uprising beauty business. Hence, we totes can’t wait to see the launch of Yeezy beauty! 😍🤗💕
