Lady Gaga

With our deep affection for all things beauty, there’s something about this fresh crop of celebrity makeup looks that’s got it all right. We’re highlighting the queen herself, Lady Gaga. For the 2018 Venice Film Festival premiere of a Star Is Born, makeup artist Sarah Tanno used Marc Jacobs Beauty to create Lady Gaga’s radiant red carpet makeup look that featured a soft pink smoky eye and soft pink lips. Thanks to their new formulations and promise of jewel-like shine, her look was there to slay.

Sarah first primed Gaga’s eyes with under(cover) perfecting coconut eye primer before applying the new highliner glam glitter gel eye crayon eyeliner in glitz blitz (sgd38), a copper shade with peach glitter, all over her eyelids and highliner matte gel eye crayon eyeliner in pink of me (sgd38), a powder pink shade, on her waterline. Next, she applied the new o!mega gel powder eyeshadow in the big o! (sgd45), a matte light brown shade, in her crease, and then blended the eyeshadow shade daddi-o! (sgd45), a matte chocolate brown, at her lash line and under her eyes. Sarah then used eye-conic multi-finish eyeshadow palette in fantascene in the shade “she said” (sgd69), an iridescent pink, all over her lids for a soft pink undertone on the eyes.

Finishing Gaga’s eye look with magic marc’er precision pen waterproof liquid eyeliner in blacquer (sgd44) at the base of her eyes and topped off her lashes for extra volume with velvet noir major volume mascara (sgd44).

For the lips, Sarah used poutliner longwear lip liner pencil in honey(bun) (sgd35), a rosy nude shade, and le marc lip crème lipstick in georgie girl (sgd44), a cotton candy pink shade. The shade beautifully transformed her lips with a lustrous, glistening colour in a glass-like finish. These are the beauty products that will pay for itself in compliments! Marc Jacobs Beauty is available at Sephora stores and Sephora.sg.

This red carpet beauty looks at the 75th Venice Film Festival 2018 have our seal of approval! Needless to say, Lady Gaga stole the show for us. A star is born? No, she has already arrived.
