Pony Effect Stay Fit Matte Lip Color

If you are on the hunt for a true-matte lip, Pony Effect has answered your prayers. Formulated with Murumuru Seed Butter and Brazil Nut Seed Oil, this liquid lipstick leaves your lips with an intense colour payoff while hydrating your lips for all-day comfort. Overall, we have mixed feelings about this liquid lipstick. As much as we were in love with the colour payoff, we were not fans of the streaky application of this liquid lipstick. Plus, you would have to reapply this lipstick after a few hours as the staying power is not as strong as we would have liked it to be. The verdict? This liquid lipstick is not one that we would repurchase. Thank you, next.

“The color (on point) is waaayy more pink and bright than it looked online, which is kind of disappointing, but my fault for not looking more into it. The color I got is a little streaky on the first swipe, and fades from the inner lip to outer lip, so your lips will have a ring of color around the outside which isn’t cute, so be careful of that. It’s not the best formula and it doesn’t last the best, but it isn’t too dry and is easy to wear,” says on Amazon review.

What we love about this lip gloss is that it leaves the lips with vivid colour with just one coat and a touch-up every few hours is not necessary! That is a winner in our books.

Not all of us are born with Cara Delevingne brows, but at least you can fake those fuller brows with this Sharping Brow Definer. Made with an ultra-fine 1.5mm tip, this brow pencil allows you to draw the most precise lines to mimic your natural brow hairs. Plus, it is also formulated with coconut oil to enhance hair growth. The best part? It comes with a spoolie on the other end!

The verdict? This brow pencil makes the cut. Its firm tip makes it easy to draw on even the finest of lines, while the formula glides on seamlessly without tugging onto the skin. The colour does not budge either, which is a major plus point for us.

“This is my favourite brow liner! The colour is super natural and it glides on easily. It’s not clumpy and the tip is fine which makes it easy for precision. I’ve used a lot of brow liners and still come back to this one. It does last all day. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have as much product as I would like it to,” says one Amazon review.

As its name suggests, this foundation is one that is a serious contender when it comes to staying in place all day. First things first, the coverage is truly as amazing as it promised. It works its magic to camouflage any imperfections without having to layer on too much! Even though it is touted as a full coverage foundation, the texture feels weightless, which makes it a life saviour for Singapore’s humid climate! However, we found that this foundation did crease a little over dry and flaky patches, so you might want to prep your skin with a primer beforehand.

It melts into the skin and blurs our any imperfections without settling into fine lines or large pores. Although it comes out as a beige tint, it goes on translucent on the skin to create a skin-like finish.

“I really have to give this a 5 star review. It said it’s for controlling oil & fill in pores. Well, to be honest I really don’t know the part about controlling oil ( because it don’t control mine). But for filling pores, it does a really nice job, my pores disappear even before I put foundation on,” says on Influenster review.
